About Licensure

The application process is completed in three main steps.

Check Your Application Status

Use the form below to find your application status. Search by transaction or order number. States typically request that you please allow them up to 7-10 business days to review the transaction and provide a response or request for additional information. If you have not received an update within this time frame you may contact the state directly to request a status and determine if additional documentation is required.

Did you forget to print your application receipt or do you need to print a copy? Log back in to the application form and provide your License Number, NPN or SSN.

Look Up Your National Producer Number (NPN)

The National Producer Number is a unique NAIC identifier assigned through the licensing application process. NPNs are assigned to all individuals and most business entities on the PDB.
