On November 2, 2023, current students will receive a housing agreement for the next school year.
Step 1: Log into the Housing Portal to begin the application process for 2024-2025. This is where you will complete your Student Housing Agreement. You will also be given the option to renew your same bed space if it is available. If you choose to renew your bed space, and it is available, you will be all set for next year!
Step 2: If you choose to select a new bed space, you may build a roommate group as part of completing your housing agreement, in preparation for selecting your room. This is an optional step but will allow you to include any current UF student in your roommate group who has completed the 2024-2025 Student Housing Agreement.
Step 3: You will receive an email with your room selection appointment. This will denote when you may enter the Housing Portal and select an available room for next year. Your appointment time will be determined based on when you completed your 2024-2025 Student Housing Agreement.
Step 4: Choose your room! At your scheduled appointment time, you will select your building and room preference in the Housing Portal. If you are in a roommate group, the student with the earliest appointment time among their roommates may select housing assignments on behalf of the entire roommate group for the same room/unit.
Step 5: Once you have selected a room, you are all set for next year!
If your plans change, the final date to cancel your housing agreement with no cancellation fee is January 31, 2024. From January 31 to May 1, 2024, standard cancellation fees apply. The final cancellation deadline is May 1, 2024.
